I'm not going on a holiday this summer unfortunately. I recently got a new job so I can't really take any time off for a holiday, maybe I can get a few days off but nothing major because I know they are really busy during the summer.

My friends and myself are now planning a short holiday in the fall and we really want to go to a place that still has a good amount of sun around that time (it doesn't have to be heat stroke warm but we would like to enjoy some time on the beach as well) any suggestions.

I've always loved to travel and see different places and cultures. Me and one of my friends even took a trip a few years ago with 'old people'. They had a completely planned schedule and went to see things in the area on the border of Belgium and Luxembourgh, such as caves and cities and all of that. We really enjoyed it.
Because of that trip it suddenly hit me, why wouldn't I be able to do some city hopping in the summer on a day off. It's not that hard to get a train ticket to Paris or London and you're there in a few hours...
I'm really considering doing this, so I can explore the city and the architecture and maybe even make some (half decent) photos.

I love making plans based on a spontanious thought!!
Besides to me it has something 'romantic' to it to just decide all of a sudden "Today I'm going to stroll around Paris" get on a train and leave for the day.....
